John Bergman,

John discusses drama therapy as part of the MFA Hollins Playwright program.

John is located in Providence, Rhode Island. There he works in multiple prison systems for Rhode Island Probation and Parole. He trains and teaches students, social workers and criminal justice workers. John has also worked with Geese Theatre Company in the United States and the United Kingdom. John has worked in prison systems in Australia, Romania, Bulgaria, New Zealand. He has taught students at Lesley University and is core visiting faculty in Hollins University's MFA Playwright program.

John has an MA in Educational Theater with independent study in creative arts therapies. He is a Registered Poetry Therapist/Mentor-Supervisor.
