Jason Butler,
PhD, LCAT, RDT/BCT
Currently located in Cambridge, Massachusetts, Jason is an Associate Professor and Coordinator of Drama Therapy at Lesley University. Formerly he was the Program Director/Drama Therapist at a day program in New York City for individuals experiencing homelessness and mental illness. He has also worked in private practice in New York City and Montreal, Quebec.
Jason has an MA in Drama Therapy from New York University and a Ph.D from Concordia University. He is also a graduate of the Developmental Transformations (DvT) Institute.
When asked what else he would like to share with the community Jason said, "I am a Past President and board member of the NADTA. As an academic, my research has a focus on experiential learning and its application to drama therapy education. I have also published on various forms of drama therapy including, role theory and developmental transformations. For more information, check out my website."

Laura Wood,
PhD, RDT/BCT, LMHC, LCAT, CCLS
Laura is currently located in Cambridge, Massachusetts where she is Assistant Professor ofDrama Therapy at Lesley University. Other work history includes: Department of Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Molloy College, Comer Children's Hospital at the University of Chicago and Alsana Treatment Center for Eating Disorders.
Laura has an MA in Drama Therapy from New York University and a PhD-CACREP from the University of Missouri-Saint Louis. She is a Certified Child Life Specialist, a Level 1 Internal Family Systems Practitioner, a Level 2 Developmental Transformations and has Core Playback Theater Training.
In her tenure as President of the North American Drama Therapy Association, Laura focused on licensure issues, raising awareness about drama therapy, mentorship and service initiatives, creating educational competencies, and forwarding the NADTA in critical considerations around issues of diversity and equity.
